3PL, fulfillment center or warehouse rental?
All three put your stock in Bulgaria. The difference is how much of the daily work stays with you.
Warehouse rental
You rent space and run everything yourself: staff, packaging, courier accounts, returns and cash-on-delivery reconciliation. You get full control. You also pay rent and salaries from day one, before you know how many orders the market will bring.
Third-party logistics (3PL)
Third-party logistics in Bulgaria is a broad term. A 3PL can mean pallet storage and transport for wholesale, or full handling of online orders. Before you compare offers, check what each provider actually does with a single order.
Fulfillment center
A fulfillment center is a 3PL built for e-commerce. It receives your stock, stores it, picks and packs each order and hands the parcel to the courier. In Bulgaria a good one also confirms orders by phone, because an unconfirmed cash-on-delivery order can travel to a courier office and back for nothing. What makes Bulgaria and Romania different
- Cash on delivery is the norm. For orders in Bulgaria, the courier pays the money straight into your bank account. It does not pass through us.
- Buyers choose how they receive the parcel: at a courier office, at a parcel locker or at their address. In Bulgaria we ship with Econt, Speedy, Pigeon Express and BOX NOW from one system, and the buyer picks the courier when placing the order.
- Orders are confirmed by phone. Our call center calls every buyer to confirm the order, and also calls people who abandoned their cart. For Bulgaria this is included in the price.
- Romania is served from Bulgaria. Your stock stays in Bulgaria. Romanian buyers order through a form in Romanian with prices in lei, and parcels go with Cargus, Sameday, FAN Courier and GLS. Both countries are in the EU, so there is no customs clearance.

What to ask a Bulgarian 3PL before signing
Ask every provider the same questions and compare the answers side by side. Here are our answers.
- What does the fee per order include? With us it is one fixed fee for a shipment with up to 4 SKUs, picking and packing included. The courier price is separate and depends on the weight and destination of the parcel.
- When do I pay for storage? Storage is free above 400 shipments a month. Up to 400, there is a flat monthly fee.
- Do you charge for receiving stock? No. We receive and check in every delivery free of charge. In Sofia we can also collect stock from you, for an extra fee.
- Who confirms cash-on-delivery orders? Our call center, included in the price for Bulgaria. It also calls abandoned carts.
- Where does the cash-on-delivery money go? For Bulgaria, straight from the courier to your bank account.
- Which couriers, and on whose contract? We work with Econt, Speedy, Pigeon Express and BOX NOW in Bulgaria, and with Cargus, Sameday, FAN Courier and GLS for Romania. Ask whose courier contract your parcels travel on and how courier costs will appear on your invoice. We set out both in your quote.
- How quickly do orders ship? We confirm, pick, pack and hand each order to the courier, often on the same day. New stock that reaches us by 12:00 Bulgarian time can ship on the day it arrives. In Burgas, orders received by 14:00 on a working day are packed and handed to the courier the same day, with delivery within Bulgaria on the next working day.
- What are your error and return rates? Under 1% picking errors and under 3% returned shipments.
- Does it connect to my store? Shopify, WooCommerce, CloudCart, ConvertBuilder and SIMVOLY connect directly. Any other site can use our order form, added with one line of code. With Shopify and ConvertBuilder, the order status also goes back to your store.
- How do we talk day to day? Every partner gets a Viber group with our team. Issues are handled directly, with no waiting on email or tickets.
How 3PL pricing works in Bulgaria
A fulfillment quote in Bulgaria usually combines a handling fee per order, storage, receiving, packaging and courier costs. Here is how our pricing is built.
A fixed fee per order, up to 4 SKUs
You pay one fixed fee for each shipment with up to 4 SKUs, and a separate fee for each SKU above the fourth. The fee covers picking and packing. It does not change with weight or destination. Only the courier price does.
Storage rules
Storage is free once you send more than 400 shipments a month. Up to 400, there is a flat monthly storage fee.
